I was dead asleep. The car was bumping on every bump on the road. Until my sister screamed to the top of her lungs. We finally reached our destination! We were in the parking lot for the KOA campgrounds at the caddo mills. It was taking forever to sign in. At least I had someone to talk to. It was my 2 grandpas: papa and papa2. We hugged and I was about to show them my shiny new fishing rod. Until my mom showed up with the keys. It wasn't very long to get to the cabin that we ordered. It was the closest to the bathroom, and it had tons of security systems. Sometimes my mom is not a very good camper. And today, I think she was going to let it out. My papa was trying to set up my shiny new fishing rod, but it was too hard. So, I had to use the one from 7 years ago. I was walking with my fishing rod until I bumped into a 6 1/2 year old and a 3 year old with their dad. Their names were Lucas and Adam.

Lucas was a 6 ½ year old who has a dashing personality. Lucas said he was from star creek in Allen. He also said that his bait was a squished bug. But it was actually a fishing tackle. I explained to him that that wasn’t a squished bug but it was really a fishing tackle. Lucas interrupted and said that he wanted to show me his family and his cabin. But first he wanted to go to the bathroom. He was very worried that he needed a code to get in. I told him that I had one too, but you don’t need it to go to the restroom. So Lucas and I went to the restroom. The door said unoccupied so we walked in. But there was a lady in a blue shirt in the restroom (which happened to be Lucas’s mom). I apologized and she switched the door sign to Occupied. I was so embarrassed to see that there was a woman right there! Meanwhile, we all met up to meet Lucas’s family. First, I already knew Adam, then I met Lucas’s big brother named Eric. He had most of a me kind of personality. He was 9, he loved legos, and he wants to act. The only difference was he was born in Sweden. My dad, Lucas, Eric, Adam, Gabby (my sister), Lucas’s dad and I went to the game room. Eric and I played ping-pong, while Lucas and Gabby played pinball. Also, my dad played Pac-man and Galiga. After all of that fun we decided it was time to go home! While Lucas was running to get me! It was fun to meet a new friend. And that’s why my spring break was a blast.

On a Friday night I was in my backyard camping with my family in a tent. We had to make the tent how ever the instructions told us to do. When we were done setting up the tent we started to play in our backyard. Then we went to get our stuff as in blankets and pillows. Then it got dark so we had to get our stuff in to the tent and get ready for bed. When we went to bed we heard howling barking sharp sounds it was a coyote. I felt really scared I was curling up in my blankets and I finally fell asleep. Then when it was time for us to wake up we had breakfast. When we were done with breakfast we went to play in the tent. Then my dad told me that we could go to my parents vs. kids game and he also took my brother Timmy with us. So then when the game was over the kids got 5 points and the parents got 8 points and so the kids lost by 3 points. When we went home we started to work on the pool and get all the water out of the pool because it got really dirty. It took us 5 days to take out all of the water from the pool. When we were done taking all of the water out of the pool, we had to fill it back up so we can swim in it. It took 3 and ½ days to fill the pool back up.
I like my spring break because it was enjoyable!

When I went to my granny’s house for spring break we got a laptop. It was small. The keyboard was cut off where the number lock started. It was cut off there because the keyboard was too big.
It was blue and flipped up and down. It was small and had a battery.
It also had some other stuff like games. It also didn’t have f1, f2, f3, f4, f5, f6, f7, f8, f9, f10, f11, f12 buttons.
The best thing about it was that it was the family’s laptop and I get to use it.
I use it for the game Spider Solitary. I like it because it’s not boring like solitary.
Spider Solitary is easier than solitary and more fun than it.
My mom shouted all the way from down stairs, “Honey come here I want to tell you some thing.” “Ok mom what do you want?” I could hear my mom’s voice with excitement “I want to tell you that we are going skiing!” “Yippy! Thank you mom! Thank you thank you!” “Don’t thank me thank your dad.” I could hear my foot prints stomping on the stairs BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! As I went to my dads office. “Hey dad thank you so much for getting tickets for STEAMBOAT!” “Your welcome sweet pea
.” On the next day we flew all the way to Denver. Then we walked to the indoor sky diving place and I got dressed to sky dive in a wind tunnel. When me and my family walk in side the doors when we did the wind tunnel started and the sound was like VROOM VROOM! It was very loud it seems like you could not here any one so I jumped in and the air was blowing in my face so hard I could not breathe. My face was red. My sky dive teacher to do some turns with your on hands. I could not here him at also he showed me with his hands. So I did a lot of turns! It was rely cool! The wind pushed me up, up and away. The next time I went out in to the wind tunnel, the teacher and I were up in the wind and he grabbed my ankle. Then he let go of me. I was flying on my own. It was awesome I said to my mom. After we left the wind tunnel, we went to my dad’s friend’s house to spend the night.
“Hey dad are we almost there?” “Yes we are almost there.” WHOO-hoo, WHOO –hoo, I was waving my hands in a circle. We walked in and it was a very pretty house. There was a safe room. His son’s room was very cool, and it had a palm tree that would light up in different colors. It was awesome! I walk all the way down stairs to find out when we are going to eat dinner. “Hey mom are we going to the Texas stake house?” “Yes we are going to the Texas stake house.” When the food came, I said, “I’m starving!” I ate the whole plate of cheesiest mac-n-cheese in the world. On the next day, we left my dad’s friend’s house to go skiing.
It was exciting! we had to go to Copper Mountain. When we arrived at Copper Mountain it was very pretty. When they took my picture, they put it on a little card, so I could be able to go on the chair lift the next day. We carried on to our hotel so we could sleep. We got up and got ready for ski school. It was good for the first day of ski school we had lunch and all the other stuff it was fun. Me and my ski team went on drop off it was scary when I fall down rely bad I was gliding down the steep hill I was crying it was very frightening and I could not stop my skies. My sky teacher’s name is Tyler he is very nice to all of us in the group. I was very glad to have him has a sky teacher.When me and my family want snow tubing it was very exciting. You should go snow tubing it was as fun as anything in the whole entire world. You could slid down a very steep hill it was very fun! “Mom I am going to miss STEAMBOAT a lot!” “I am to sweet pea.” On the next day we got packed. When we got to the airport I was very sad. When I got home I was happy to come home to se my little one Jon. He was happy to see mom, dad, me, and will. I can’t wait to hit the road to STEAMBOAT during the Christmas holiday!
